Nicholas Forcey
Nick obtained his Master’s degree in Psychology from Brunel University London, having transitioned into the field of mental health following a career in the reinsurance industry, where he worked in both broking and underwriting roles.
His decision to pursue psychology was driven by a growing interest in human behaviour, emotional well-being, and the ways in which people navigate personal and professional challenges. Drawing on his experience in the corporate world, Nick brings an understanding of workplace pressures, interpersonal relationships, and the impact of stress and life transitions on psychological well-being. He works individually with adults, adolescents, and children, adapting his approach to meet the developmental needs and personal circumstances of each client. Alongside his individual counselling work, Nick facilitates therapeutic groups and helps develop programmes for children and adults at Solstice.
