Kayla Grant
Occupational Therapist
Kayla Grant is an Occupational Therapist registered in both Bermuda and the United States. Originally from the U.S., she has called Bermuda home for the past five years, where she previously worked with the Bermuda Hospitals Board. Kayla is also actively involved in the development of the profession locally as a member of the executive board of the Bermuda Occupational Therapy Association.
At the heart of Kayla’s practice is the belief that every person deserves the tools and support they need to thrive in their daily lives. She works with children, adolescents, and adults, partnering closely with clients and families to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect each individual’s strengths, goals, and environment. Kayla takes a holistic approach, addressing areas such as emotional regulation, sensory processing, daily living skills, fine and gross motor development, cognitive strategies, and the establishment of healthy routines.
Kayla integrates evidence-based interventions with creative, client-centered therapeutic strategies to help individuals strengthen functional skills, enhance self-efficacy, and build resilience. She is passionate about supporting clients to participate more fully in school, work, relationships, and community life, and about empowering families and caregivers with practical tools they can use day to day.
Kayla provides occupational therapy assessment and intervention for a wide range of needs, including sensory and developmental differences, anxiety and emotional regulation challenges, neurodiversity, injury or illness recovery, and support with independence in everyday activities. Her compassionate and collaborative approach ensures that therapy is meaningful, engaging, and focused on real-life success.
