Avalon offers psychotherapy to adults of all ages and has experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, developmental trauma and sexual abuse, psychosis, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), dreams, spirituality, religious abuse, and identity concerns.

She partners with clients to cultivate authentic relationships that support their journey of exploration, understanding, and transformation. Her warm, playful, and open style fosters a safe environment where subconscious and unconscious thoughts and feelings can surface, allowing clients to delve deeper into and begin to expand the self.

Avalon is a psychoanalytic therapist who integrates aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS), dream analysis, and active imagination. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma. Over the past six years, Avalon has worked in community mental health settings and private practice in London, New York, and Bermuda.

She holds a master’s degree in social work from New York University, a master’s degree in religion in global politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (London), and certificates in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and transpersonal psychotherapy. In addition, she is a mindfulness and yoga teacher.

Avalon is a clinically focused, licensed social worker registered with both New York State and the Bermuda Counsellors Association.
