Senior Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Guy Fowle is a Bermudian born Clinical Psychologist, who is registered in Bermuda and licensed in Texas. After returning from extended training in North America in 1986, Dr. Fowle worked for Family Services for a year and then was the Senior School Psychologist at the Department of Education for two years. Since then, he has been involved in private practice. Dr. Fowle has served as president of the Bermuda Psychological Association and as Chairperson of the Psychologist Registration Council and currently is a director of the Bermuda Mental Health Foundation.

Dr. Fowle specialises in psychological assessment of children, adolescents, and adults. He utilises the technique of Therapeutic Assessment as well as conducting more traditional neuropsychological, learning, and emotional evaluations. In recent years he has been involved in court ordered assessments in the area of parenting/child evaluations and evaluations for various types of disabilities. He has a particular interest in working with adults to better understand their ADHD presentation. Dr. Fowle also provides individual therapy with children and adults where he utilises family therapy, play therapy and psychodynamic approach, depending on the needs of the client. His research interests are centred around personality assessment. Other interests include mountain travel and trekking, volunteer work in mental health in Bangladesh and the collection of antique Burmese Royal Weights.
